Snapshot: Email archiving on the rise with users
Email archiving on the rise with users
Published: 14 May 2007
Storage readers are roughly split down the middle on archiving email: 52% do, while 48% don't. However, 58% of nonarchivers say they do plan to archive email in the future, while 38% say their company doesn't require it. Of those who do archive email, 45% use a third-party tool, a significant rise compared to four years ago when only 18% did so. But even though most archiving tools allow users to set up a wide variety of policies to selectively archive email, 71% of respondents archive all email communications.
