Calling all data storage products for the 2019 Products of the Year

Do you have a great data storage product that first shipped or was significantly enhanced this year? If yes, we want to hear about it. There’s just one week left to enter your outstanding product in Storage magazine and SearchStorage’s 2019 Storage Products of the Year competition.

We’ve just extended the deadline for the competition and will be taking entries until 5 p.m. PDT, Friday, Sept. 27. You can find our entry form here. You’ll also get full descriptions of each product category, details on the judging criteria we use and even some tips from our judges on how to fill out the form.

This is the 18th year Storage magazine and SearchStorage have selected the year’s outstanding data storage products to receive gold, silver and bronze awards. This year’s awards will highlight the best new and enhanced storage products that rolled out of your workshops, test centers, labs and fabrication plants on or after Sept. 21, 2018, and before Sept. 20, 2019.

To date, we’ve honored more than 245 data storage products with these annual awards. Our panel of judges includes some of the most storage-savvy analysts, consultants, writers and editors in the industry. They’ve worked in or followed the storage market and your products for decades.

Our judges look at the following seven areas in assessing nominated products: performance, innovation, ease of integration, ease of use, manageability, functionality and value.

Are you ready to enter? Here are the five data storage product categories in which we’re accepting entries this year:

• Backup and disaster recovery hardware, software and services
• Cloud storage
• Disk and disk subsystems
• Hyper-converged and composable infrastructures
• Storage system and application software

Finalists for the competition will be announced in January and winners in February. Don’t delay: The 2019 Storage Products of the Year deadline is almost here. Take a few minutes to fill out that entry form now!
