Enterprise disk array consolidation product specifications

  Storage consolidation is about doing more with less -- saving more data on fewer storage platforms. In many cases, enterprise data centers will implement consolidation strategies using large monolithic arrays that can replace several aging systems, though clustered storage approaches are sometimes deployed. In addition to huge storage capacities, today's enterprise-class arrays provide high internal performance, ample connectivity, redundancy and high availability, and power conservation features.

The following cross-section of disk arrays was selected based on input from industry analysts and SearchStorage.com editors. The specifications, which were provided by the vendors, are current as of January 2008. They are periodically upgraded.
