Summary:
BMC Software launched Tuesday the Patrol Application Storage Resource Manager (ASRM), the final component of BMC's Application-Centric Storage Management solution, which identifies and correlates which storage assets support individual business applications. BMC also said it has formed the ACSM Consortium Partner Program to test and integrate their systems with the Patrol products. Companies such as Brocade, EMC, Hitachi and Nishan Systems have joined the consortium.
