Seagate bundles Bakbone's NetVault

Description: Bakbone Software, Inc., a San Diego, Calif.-based provider of storage software solutions, and Seagate Removable Storage Solutions, Scotts Valley, Calif. announced an OEM software agreement under which Seagate will bundle a copy of Bakbone's NetVault backup/restore software with Seagate's Viper 2000 Ultrium tape drive and Viper 2000 autoloader. NetVault will enable the Viper 2000 to process data at a higher rate of throughput and efficiency. The NetVault/Viper drive bundle will be available in the first half of 2001 through Seagate's resellers and distributors or on the Internet at http://buytape.seagate.com Bakbone Software, Inc.
