Data Domain raises $15M
Disk backup maker Data Domain announced that it has secured $15 million in Series C funding, led by Greylock Partners and joined by New Enterprise Associates and Sutter Hill Ventures. The latest fundraising effort brings Data Domain's total funding to $41 million.
Racing team chooses Asigra
DWW/GorillaRacing will use Asigra Inc.'s Televaulting remote backup software to back up car control, performance and race response data from laptops at the track. Regular full backups of team laptops, including operating systems, software and racing data is remotely backed up to SyncSave's data center in Rhode Island where it is compressed, encrypted and stored on disk.
LaCie integrates with Silicon Image for eSATA
LaCie has selected Silicon Image Inc.'s SteelVine storage processor for its Biggest S2S external SATA (eSATA) drives, the companies announced yesterday.
