Although backup software products do support WORM devices, they don't do a very good job of it, according to compliance expert Mike Casey. Set up persistent binding on an HBA SAN expert Chris Poelker gives you the code to set up persistent binding on a host bus adapter (HBA) for a Unix host. Several steps are involved in this process but if you follow Chris's advice, you should get it done the right way.
