Brocade files 10-K, finally
Brocade Communications Systems, Inc. announced that it has filed its audited financial results on Form 10-K, for the fiscal year that ended Oct. 29, 2005, with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). As announced on Jan. 12, 2005, Brocade delayed its filing of Form 10-K in order to provide information necessary for its independent registered public accounting firm, KPMG LLP, to complete its audit of the company's financial statements for fiscal 2005 and its audit of management's assessment of the effectiveness of the company's internal control over financial reporting. The audit and attestation are now complete.
LogLogic manages EMC Smarts
LogLogic announced a new offering that will allow users to log data from any device or application via EMC Corp.'s Smarts application. LogLogic's log monitoring product automates the collection, storage and reporting of log data. LogLogic also announced it has joined the EMC Smarts Technology Alliances Program.
BlueArc customer keeps a lid on data growth
BlueArc announced that Advantage Sales and Marketing has deployed two of its Titan storage systems to support the rapid growth of the company -- having recently merged 30 companies into one corporation. A single Titan is being deployed to handle the resulting increase in data from the merged companies, which has rocketed nearly 500% over the last six months alone, while the second Titan is being implemented for backup and data recovery.
Riverbed announces 500th customer
Riverbed Technology announced today that it has acquired more than 500 customers in just over 18 months of shipping its Steelhead WAN optimization appliances, doubling its customer base in six months.
Avamar hits 300
Avamar announced revenue in Q4 2005 grew over 177% from the same period in 2004, contributing to total revenue growth of over 140% for the year. During the past year Avamar's customer base doubled to over 300 deployments.
Onaro names new VP
Onaro Inc. announced that former Egenera Inc. vice president Bryan Semple has joined the company as vice president of marketing.
