Storageflex adds compliance technology, partners with C2C
Storage and management company Storageflex Inc. announced its new Compliance Storage Services (CSS), designed to help customers manage storage complexities and compliance regulations. CSS consolidates all of the physical storage subsystems on a network -- magnetic, optical, CD, DVD, or tape -- into a single hierarchically managed resource, which is treated as one logical entity. The most recently used data is available on the magnetic or top tier, providing fast access for users, according the Storageflex.

Also, Storageflex has partnered with C2C Systems, a provider of e-mail management software for Microsoft Exchange, to help companies meet compliance regulations. C2C's Archive One Compliance software will handle the archiving, search and retrieval of e-mail while Storageflex's CSS product will reportedly enable organizations to define and automatically execute storage policies.
