"Simplify datacenter recovery":
Most data centers these days have multiple platforms -- Intel-based servers for login, web, and application front-ends, mid-range systems for databases and packaged applications and some are using mainframes for large enterprise applications. Traditionally companies have attempted to build recovery capabilities for each of those platforms. The reality is that the environment is so intertwined that the traditional approach is unreasonable. It requires some unique thinking to deal with those complexities.
Damian Walch examines new methods for addressing the interdependency between applications include basic mirroring techniques for enterprise storage, depending mapping software and various load-balancing solutions. Damian will show you how to build a distinct strategy for how you're going to perform a restoration in the event of an outage.
