About "Top SAN interoperability issues: What's still lurking in the weeds?"
Attendees to this event will learn about the new (and old) interoperability issues that still exist when deploying a storage area network. Bill will be covering what works together and what doesn't, suggested architectures to work around these issues, and other important SAN interoperability topics. Discussion will be based upon real-world customer deployments and testing experiences. If you'd like to learn what interoperability challenges to avoid in your own quest for SAN utopia, consider making time for this event.
Please join Imation Storage Professional Services' Bill Peldzus and SearchStorage for this event, Wednesday, September 25, at 12 pm EDT (16:00 GMT).
About Imation and Bill Peldzus:
Imation Corporation has been heavily involved in vendor-independent testing of storage area networks and their components, through the work of its own interoperability lab. Imation's Storage Professional Services (SPS) division has since been able to share much of the real-world knowledge gained by the company with storage end users. As the Storage Consulting Marketing Manager for Imation's Storage Professional Services (SPS) division, Bill Peldzus has been influential in defining both Imation SPS's role, and also the need for independent storage expertise in the storage networking marketplace. Peldzus often serves as a content expert and speaker on SAN technologies. He joined Imation from StorageTek, where he most recently was Storage Marketing Consultant for the worldwide StorageTek SAN Operations Business Group. Prior to StorageTek, Peldzus served as Director in the Information Technology Division for CNA Insurance Companies.
