Storage networking developer, Chaparral Network Storage and Anacomp Technical Services have forged an alliance that will provide worldwide service and support for Chaparral customers.
Under the agreement, Anacomp, a global provider of multi-vendor solutions support based in Calif., will provide Chaparral's customers with on-site maintenance and support for Chaparral's fibre channel routers for storage area networks (SANs).
The partnership spawned an around-the-clock, onsite service program designed to support customers using Chaparral's FS1110R and FS1310R products.
According to Anacomp, there will be two different service levels. The first level provides service seven days a week, 24 hours a day, with a four-hour average service response time. The second level offers five days a week-offering, that includes nine hours a day of service with a four-hour average service response time. This coverage is available from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, Monday through Friday and excludes holidays.
