CMD Technology, Inc. a provider of RAID (redundant array of independent disks) controller technology, based in Irvine, Calif., debuted its new line of RAID controllers at the SAN 2000 conference in San Jose, Calif. last week.
CMD exhibited a pair of its Titan high performance Fibre Channel/Ultra2 RAID controllers - the Titan CRA-7280 and the recently debuted Titan CRD-7220, which CMD began shipping this month.
Both of the new Titan controllers feature hot swappable, dual redundant controllers and are designed to provide enterprise level storage capacities and performance. In addition, both come bundled with a network-based GUI, RAID management utilities and a range of CMD proprietary features. These include CMD's RAID Management System, as well as automatic fail-over and CMD's AutoRebind feature for continuous access environments. The Titan controllers will also incorporate CMD's new SANmask LUN masking technology for secure disk access in shared storage environments.
