Verari Systems is shipping Emulex Corp.'s OneConnect Universal Converged Network Adapters (UCNAs) with the Verari Systems Forest Container solutions. OneConnect UCNAs enable network convergence through support of full hardware protocol offload for Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), iSCSI and Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE).
Seven10's StorFirst integrates with EMC Atmos
Seven10 Storage Software Inc. said its StorFirst EAS file system software is fully integrated with EMC Atmos through the EMC Velocity2 Atmos Partner Program. Windows-based StorFirst allows for access to the storage cloud by providing a CIFS/NFS/Http integration layer into Atmos, which is EMC's multi-petabyte cloud infrastructure.
Voltaire plugs into Oracle Enterprise Manager
Voltaire launched the Voltaire Grid Control Plug-in, a software-based plug-in for Oracle Enterprise Manager that enables management, monitoring and analysis of Voltaire's InfiniBand I/O fabrics in Oracle Real Application Cluster (RAC) Database environments. Voltaire developed the Grid Control Plug-in in response to the growing demand for Voltaire InfiniBand as the I/O interconnect in Oracle RAC implementations.
Idex Group selects Mimosa NearPoint archiving
Mimosa Systems said Idex Group, an independent group of French energy and environmental services, has selected Mimosa NearPoint to archive its Exchange messaging platform on NetApp storage. Idex Group designs and implements solutions for the production and distribution of energy and integration services.
CoreVault protects law office
CoreVault said the law offices of Oklahoma City-based Hemry, Hemry & McDoniel (HH&M) has implemented CoreVault's Online Data Backup solution to protect its business data. HH&M turned to CoreVault after struggling to recover critical data backed up by its previous provider.
