HP touts medical customers
Hewlett-Packard Co. (HP) announced two customers using its Medical Archiving Solution (MAS). Gwinnett Health System, a nonprofit healthcare network in Georgia, integrated its electronic medical records system with the MAS; Thames Valley Hospital Planning Partnership, which consists of eight healthcare institutions in Southwestern Ontario, Canada, eliminated the use of film by putting X-rays and MRIs on the MAS box.

Brocade sets aside settlement fund
Brocade could be close to a settlement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) with regard to its stock option investigation. According to the company's quarterly earnings report, the switch maker has set aside $5 million for settlement expenses.

Dell resells Cisco storage switches
Dell Inc. will resell Cisco's MDS Fibre Channel switches, a Dell spokesman told SearchStorage.com. The news was part of Dell's announcement to resell Cisco's Catalyst Blade Switch 3030 for its PowerEdge Blade Server Enclosure.
