Nero, Samsung enter Blu-ray race Nero announced today that Samsung is sending out test samples to media reviewers in Europe of its Blu-ray discs packaged with a test version of Nero 7 supporting the Blu-ray format. Samsung's Blu-ray disc offers up to 25 GB in a single layer and 50 GB in a dual layer.
Clearwell appoints Google VP
E-mail analytics startup Clearwell Systems Inc. announced the appointment of Dr. Bill Coughran, vice president of engineering for systems infrastructure at Google to its board of directors.
Kano to OEM iStor IStor Networks Inc. announced an OEM partnership with Kano Technologies in which Kano will integrate iStor's GigaStorATX storage controller into its iSCSI subsystem offerings. The GigaStorATX will be used as centralized storage for electronic data, including imaging, audio, video and data files.
