Philly stock exchange reports big savings with Brocade The Philadelphia Stock Exchange said it cut its data storage expenses by 75% over previous DAS systems when it deployed a SAN from Brocade. The Brocade SAN enables the 400-employee Exchange to more effectively archive records of trades and issues that must be stored for seven years by Securities and Exchange Commission rules.

LeftHand certified by Microsoft LeftHand Networks announced it has completed the tests required to participate in Microsoft's Exchange Solution Reviewed Program (ESRP) for storage. Hewlett-Packard Co. ProLiant DL380s servers running LeftHand's SAN/iQ software were used in the ESRP testing. LeftHand was the first iSCSI vendor to complete the tests required for program participation.
