Brocade CFO calls it quits
Brocade Communications Systems Inc.'s chief financial officer (CFO) Tony Canova, resigned his position, leaving no reason for his departure. His resignation, Wall Street has noted, comes after Brocade suffered accounting woes (multiple restatements, delayed 10Qs and 10Ks, Securites and Exchange Commission/Department of Justice investigation) and the resignation of former CEO Greg Reyes. In the meantime, Richard Deranleau, corporate controller and treasurer, will serve as interim CFO while Brocade conducts an external search.

Dell to sell McData in Japan
McData announced that its 4 Gbps Sphereon 4400 and 4700 Fabric Switches are now marketed and sold in Japan through Dell. Dell already sells other McDATA products throughout Asia Pacific.
