Asigra supports VMware Asigra Inc. announced that its Televaulting software now supports remote backup for VMware Inc. environments. Asigra will support backup of live virtual machines, consolidation of multiple hardware servers onto a single sever with multiple VMware virtual machines, or adding new server or storage hardware to scale performance and/or capacity.
NorthSeas launches new e-mail archiving appliance NorthSeas AMT introduced the newest product in its line of e-mail archiving appliances. The NorthSeas Gal E/N is meant to be the "big brother" to the NorthSeas Guard E/N. The NorthSeas Gal E/N runs the same NorthSeas Archiving application as the Guard E/N, but archives up to five times faster and has increased the size of the onboard message index to over 500 million messages, as well as 1 GB of system memory. The new box is being launched first in the U.K. and Holland.

Sanrad V-Switch chosen by HR firm Amstaff Human Resource Companies, Inc., a member of Landrum Human Resource Companies Inc., has deployed a pair of clustered Sanrad V-Switches as part of a new IP SAN system, Sanrad announced.
ATTO upgrades SATA ATTO Technology Inc. announced it has begun shipping its SATA Diamond Array with a new upgraded capacity of 12 terabytes (TB). Based on the newest array, ATTO said it can provide up to 168 TB of storage in a standard 44U rack.
Chelsio releases new target stack Chelsio Communications Inc. announced a new iSCSI target stack capable of 400,000 I/O operations per second. The newly released stack is available as a free upgrade to all existing and future Chelsio products. In addition, Chelsio is making its Terminator ASIC chips available for OEM design-ins.
