NSI Software Inc. said it has 15,000 licenses of its Double-Take data protection software installed with Microsoft SQL Server worldwide. The company also announced its support for SQL Server 2005.

Tokyo school installs StoreAge
Virtualization startup, StoreAge Networking Technologies, announced that it has completed an installation at the Tamagawa campus in Tokyo, with its partner, Computer Dynamics. The size and scope of the installation covers multiple terabytes (TB) of data storage across the various departments located within the five buildings of the K-12 school IT infrastructures.

Winchester offers iSCSI/FC array
Winchester Systems Inc. introduced an iSCSI-based RAID array that also has Fibre Channel (FC) connectivity. Known as the FlexSAN FS-100 disk array, it supports up to 6 TB of SATA storage with four iSCSI and four FC host connections.
