The company had been working with Therion in stealth mode for over a year and plans to unveil technologies developed as a result of the acquisition at the Brocade conference on June 1, 2005 in Santa Clara, Calif.

DataCore launches SANmelody 2.0 DataCore Inc. announced the next version of its storage management software, SANmelody 2.0. It offers increased support for Microsoft environments, including key Windows Server 2003 Storage Services, such as Virtual Disk Services, Volume Shadow Copy Services and Multipath I/O. Among other things, the new version also adds support for Microsoft Clusters and a range of iSCSI and IP SAN security features to better protect the network from security threats.
