As in past years (2002, 2003) the 2004 Products of the Year awards vividly reflect the innovation in our industry. Each of the winning products solves real-world problems and makes your company's data more secure and accessible. And this year's awards prove that larger, older and more established companies don't have a monopoly on innovation.
As always, entrants are judged on six criteria:
More than 200 submissions were scrutinized, and the best of that group were judged by a panel of independent experts, storage managers and editors. Products were scored on all of the previously mentioned criteria. Some of the winners were highly innovative; some set new benchmarks for value or another attribute; and some just had a great combination of several qualities. But all represent a new state of the art for storage products.
