CNT makes long-distance connection with TagmaStore Computer Network Technology Corp. (CNT) has completed qualification with Hitachi Data Systems' new TagmaStore Universal Storage Platform (USP). CNT's UltraNet Edge Storage Router and UltraNet Storage Director provide long-distance remote connectivity for the USP. CNT said this combined storage platform will give customers the ability to connect their geographically separate storage networks for disaster recovery and business continuity.

Microsoft puts Emulex HBAs to the test Host bus adapter (HBA) and embedded storage switches provider Emulex Corp. announced that its HBAs have been selected for use in Microsoft Technology Centers throughout the U.S. The Emulex LightPulse LP10000 and LP10000DC HBAs were selected by Microsoft for high-performance connectivity and are now fully integrated into SAN solutions at Microsoft Technology Centers in Austin, Boston, Chicago, Redmond and Silicon Valley.
