While approximately half of the respondents to our recent survey keep their fingers crossed when it comes to disaster recovery (DR), 52% perform regular DR tests. Of those testing their DR plans, the majority (47%) test twice a year, while 26% put plans through their paces once a year. tests, 34% say it's because they don't have a DR site. In addition, 20% optimistically say they don't need a DR plan. Other reasons for not performing DR tests were not enough bandwidth, an unfinished DR infrastructure and DR testing not being made a priority.
