Managers are buying more storage than planned, according to market research firm TheInfoPro, which has completed Wave 8 of its bi-annual survey of Fortune 1000 storage professionals. Fifty percent of respondents indicate they buy storage on the fly several times a year, suggesting that forecasting is still unwieldy for storage managers.
