SCSI drives in flux
High-performance SCSI drives aren't usually subject to many price fluctuations, but the introduction of new Seagate model numbers for its 73GB 10,000 rpm and 36GB 15,000 rpm drives has disrupted availability. As of this month, the drive models we'll track will be ST373207LC and ST336754LC. Meanwhile, over in tape land, drives showed very little price movement, although IBM's LTO-2 drive--the 3580-L23--was in very short supply.
