This past month was marked by very slight fluctuations in commodity storage prices, be it disk drives, tape drives or tape media. The only items to show respectable declines were Seagate's 15K 36GB drive, which dropped by 3.4%, and LTO-2 media, which dropped by 3.1%. Quantum's latest SDLT drive, meanwhile, continues to be carried by an increasing number of online retailers, but SDLT-II media is still nowhere to be found.
