| TheInfoPro recently asked its panel of Fortune 1000 storage administrators to evaluate the features of virtual tape libraries (VTLs) and the verdict is in. Integration with backup software rules, with 65% of respondents describing it as "Extremely important." Fifty-four percent said performance was their key concern. At the opposite end of the spectrum was encryption, which was deemed extremely important by only 11% of respondents, and iSCSI connectivity, which is a pivotal feature for a mere 2%.
