TeraCloud also offers a free download of fcping--the Fibre Channel equivalent to the IP world's ping. fcping is used to determine the basic connectivity between two Fibre Channel points, as well as monitor and measure network latency. Both io_profile and fcping are available as source under the GNU Public Library, and as binaries for Windows, Solaris and Linux. To download the utilities, you must supply your contact information.
