Continuing upheavals in the storage marketplace in 2007 led to a surge in innovative storage technology, resulting in vendors submitting a record number of new storage-related products -- more than 200 -- to our annual Products of the Year competition.
As such, it was harder than ever for the judges and editors of SearchStorage.com and Storage magazine to decide this year's winners in the five storage product categories: storage management, backup and disaster recovery software, storage networking, disk and disk subsystems, and backup hardware.
