Mike Casey has more than 20 years experience in storage and high technology. Previously Casey was a storage analyst for Gartner and a compliance officer for a medical device company. He has also held executive and marketing management positions at storage product companies such as Fujitsu, IBM, Shugart and Solid Data Systems. Casey has published numerous articles and papers on storage technology, compliance and data strategy, and has spoken at industry conferences such as Storage Decisions, Storage Networking Word and Gartner Planet Storage. He also serves as an expert on data retention and compliance, responding to reader questions in the Ask The Expert feature at SearchStorage.com. Casey holds a BS in Physics and an MBA, both from Santa Clara University.
