QUESTION POSED ON: 05 May 2004
I want to give management a report explaining the advantages of using a NAS instead of a Windows file server. Could you please give me a comparison report or know of where I can find one?

>
I don't know of anyone ever doing a specific report. It's really a matter of reliability because the NAS device doesn't allow additional drivers and software to be installed that may be a destabilizing element. I've never seen any specific statistics or a report on that.
