QUESTION POSED ON: 03 February 2005
How many devices can be attached to an IDE cable?

>
IDE and ATA interfaces support up to two devices (master and slave) per cable. If you want to support more than two devices, look at a different interface, for example SCSI, SAS, or Fibre Channel.
