How do I connect a Fibre Channel SAN switch to a router or another Ethernet (non-SAN) switch?

You could use a storage router (either a standalone or blade on a switch) to connect a Fibre Channel switch to an Ethernet switch. At one location, you could have server and a storage devices attached to a Fibre Channel switch. You could then have another iSCSI-enabled server attached to an Ethernet switch, which in turn attaches to an iSCSI or Fibre Channel router or gateway. The router or gateway would then connect to the Ethernet switch using an Ethernet connection (CAT 5 or optical) and to the Fibre Channel switch using fiber optics.
