Q

What does a terabyte cost?

We may be required to store 292 terabytes a year. What is the estimated cost for something like this?

There's no way I can answer that. Right now, it's a buyer's market so you can make deals with the vendors or your reseller. With that large of a purchase, you can probably strike a good deal. The price depends greatly on the product you buy, who you buy it from, the amount you purchase and how good you are at negotiating.
