As a storage administrator, is it possible to fine tune flow control settings (buffer credits) in a fabric? Also, is it advisable or is best left to the fabric itself?

You are welcome to fine tune the buffer credits in a fabric, but one would ask why are you doing this unless you have a problem within your fabric?

Fine-tuning the buffer credits would only be necessary when using long spans of fiber optic cable. In that case, you need to provide additional buffer credits to a given port for this purpose.

I hope that this helps you. Let me know if I can assist you further.
