We will be purchasing a SAN solution soon. The driving factor is an Oracle database system that we will install. We are considering the Compaq MSA1000 and the Dell/EMC FC4500.
Where can we find some solid reviews of these two solutions? Have any comments on the two?
I don't make recommendations or comments on specific vendor solutions. You can use the .vxu6aIrlnOS.1@.ee83ce4!viewtype=convDate>"discussion forum" section of SearchStorage.com to ask other users about their experiences with specific products.
The best thing to do though is bring both vendors in for a "try and buy." This way you can test both products against your production Oracle database and find out which one works best for you.
