RAIDS or switches and HBAs?
What size was the WWN storage market in 2000 and 2001? Also, what is the size of the market this year and where is it headed in the next few years?
There are relationships between all the products of course but as far as I know they aren't linear. The thing to understand is that a single HBA in a host can access a lot of LUNs. Also, a single subsystem port can export multiple LUNs -- which are being accessed by several host HBAs.
I'm not a "numbers" guy but IDC is probably the best source for this. In May 2002, they corrected their market forecast for Fibre Channel. Fibre Channel hubs and switches total ~ $925M in 2002 and $1B in 2003 and Fibre Channel directors ~ $500M in 2002 and $600M in 2003.
I don't know what the latest revisions look like. As for past years, you'll have to run your own search.
