Has anyone experienced a problem with the STK 9200 (ICEBERG) experiencing a HOT I/O that causes the DASD architecture to be fenced off? (Reference code=3300) We had this occur recently. STK said it was related to an IT service vision job that was performing a random search of a logical address. This caused our entire MVS Operating System to go down. DB2 data was corrupted and had to be restored from disaster recovery backups.

I've never run into this problem. I suggest you pose your question on searchStorage's Administrator Central discussion forum to check with in with your peers on this matter.
