How can we find the relationship between ports and ASIC on switches as you mention in "SAN Topology Options for Switches and Directors", February 2002?

Ask your switch vendor about how ports are mapped to ASICS, they should know. It's not the type of thing that's field upgradeable either so you (or somebody else) can't change it by mistake!
