Non-EMC NAS devices

Which non-EMC NAS devices provide a gateway to connect to an EMC (Symmetrix) SAN?

While not really a NAS head or gateway, VERITAS ServPoint for NAS can have the Symmetrix as a storage system attached to the Sun server. Many of the other NAS gateways could use Symmetrix but they are not "qualified" with it. That just means it has not been tested and will not be supported should a problem arise.

The major vendors try to sell their own storage and test with their own products first. Look for them to add other vendors' products to their attachment support at some point in the future. Several small vendors claim they support a wide variety of storage products but have very small market presence.
