This question is NOT asked a thousand times and it's a great question, but I believe it may be a trick question. The issue here is system performance, not data consistency or integrity. If you are using synchronous mode with SRDF, the data will not be acknowledged to the host until it is both local and remote subsystem caches. The distance should be irrelevant. Distance is an issue using asynchronous mode. Regards,
