Q

Looking for entry-level positions

Hi,

I am a Masters student and I intend to make my career in network storage and development of storage architectures. However, looking at the market condition, I am not able to see anyone trying to hire a fresh graduate. Can you help me out with some suggestions as to what I should be looking out for? Thanks.

Anil,

It may well be that the timing of your Masters is a stroke of good fate. By the time you are completed, several companies may begin their search for talented entry-level people again.

Once the hiring starts again, many companies will be conducting on-site college recruiting. Look for a visit to your school by one or more of the following:

EMC Corporation
Network Appliance Inc.
CacheFlow Systems
Legato Systems
Veritas Software
