EMC and its 200 meg interface

Why has EMC not announced their 200 meg interface yet? Could it be that the back end of their machine would suffer from such a boost in the front end?

Sorry, but its a little out of the scope of my role at searchStorage to make a guess about specific companies and products. But, EMC tends to be very conservative in their testing and qualifications. It is possible that the situation is like you said, but I expect it has more to do with their qualification cycle.
