Q

Career in software development

I'm a commerce graduate and GNIIT having completed GNIIT from NIIT recently. I'm proficient in programming languages...

like C++, VB and Java and RDBMS like Sybase and SQL Server. I want to make my career in software development but I have no development experience. What should I do?

I am not clear on what you mean by "commerce graduate". If this represents a certified University offering 4-5 year college degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, then OK. A BS degree is what's typically required for an entry-level position in software development at United States technology companies. Many of these companies will, in fact seek, graduating seniors at well-known universities.
