Leading storage management software vendors including Veritas, BMC, EMC, IBM Tivoli and Computer Associates all support Linux -- and all are aggressively ramping their support for Linux as it has become clear that Linux has a significant role to play in the enterprise data center.

Storage resource management, volume management, RAID software and SAN management software from a variety of vendors is also currently available on Linux.
