Which NAS will fit the bill? I'm looking for a low price ($5K) NAS for a workgroup of 20 developers/engineers to use with this general spec:
- 400GB RAID5 will scale to 1TB with >= 200GB ultra ATA disks
-
Requires Free Membership to View
- GB Fiber Ethernet connect or multiple 100Tx
- redundant power and fans
- windows based os
- hot plug drives
Thanks in advance.
There are many to consider from different vendors. Your price is very low. We typically provide information for our customers to help them make decisions like this. You'll need to do you own homework but you can start by checking products from HP, IBM, Snap, Procom and several others that have offerings in the area you want.
